About the Role
This role as an Electrician involves working within a large team to manage maintenance, repairs, and compliance monitoring across SLaM’s main hospital sites and community properties. Key Responsibilities
As a member of the Estates team, your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform general maintenance and reactive repairs for both domestic and commercial building services.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure statutory checks are in line with the Approved Code of Practice and Building Regulations.
- Safety Standards: Adhere to safety protocols, especially in healthcare environments, to ensure that facilities are safe for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Fire Safety and Building Fabric Maintenance: Maintain fire doors, compartments, and other essential building fabric as required.

Candidate Requirements

Essential Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant trade.
- BS7671 18th Edition certification and Health & Safety qualifications.

- Additional Certifications: Such as CSCS card, Testing & Inspection, or fire safety experience.
