Easy and Effective Home Remedies for Skin Lightening

TOMATO MASK

Tomatoes contain photo protective properties that help protect the skin from ageing. Oatmeal, on the other hand, is a great exfoliator and yogurt adds moisture.

Take 2 teaspoons of tomato juice and 1 teaspoon of yogurt and 1 teaspoon of oatmeal. Mix everything well. Apply the mask to clean skin and leave for about 20 minutes. Wash it off with warm water. Do this about 2-3 times a week for best results.

LEMON AND HONEY MASK

Lemon, as we all know, is rich in vitamin C and has important skin cleansing and brightening properties.

Take one spoon of milk, one spoon of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of honey. Mix everything well and apply the paste on your face. Leave it on for about 20 minutes and then wipe it off. Do this process every night for best results.

GRAM FLOUR AND YOGURT MASK

Besan or gram flour has anti-bacterial properties that protect our skin from infection. Rose water keeps the skin clean and yogurt helps to keep the skin healthy.

All you need is 2 tablespoons of besan, 2 teaspoons of yogurt, and 1 teaspoon of rose water. Mix everything well in a paste knife. Apply it evenly on the face and let it sit for about half an hour. Wash your face with lukewarm water. Do this thrice a week for best and immediate results.

POTATO JUICE 

Potato juice is very rich in vitamin C and has an antioxidant effect. It also has whitening properties that soften the skin and remove dead skin cells.

All you have to do is peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes. Rub a small piece on your face and leave it for about 15-20 minutes. You can also peel potatoes and remove the juice and apply it on your face with a cloth. Repeat this process three times a week for best results.

RICE FLOUR MASK

Rice powder is good for soft, clear and healthy skin. It also has many properties that make the skin glow. On the other hand, milk helps to hydrate and nourish the body.

Take half a cup of rice flour and mix it with about 3-4 spoons of milk. Apply this paste on your skin and leave it for about 30 minutes. Repeat this twice a week for best results.
